Upper North Island Weekend Weather: Cooler and Drier After Storm
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Storm-affected regions in New Zealand’s North Island, including Northland, Auckland, the Coromandel Peninsula, and the Bay of Plenty, are set to experience drier conditions this weekend, providing a break from heavy rain. While a few showers may persist, MetService meteorologist John Law noted strong southwest winds could still impact some areas. The long weekend is expected to improve, with Monday likely being the best day for weather. Overall, while conditions will be drier, localized showers and blustery winds remain a possibility.
