Shirin Khan, a gas leak survivor, lost her husband to multiple problems and now suffers from various health issues, including gynaecological problems. Dr B Raghuram noted that gas-exposed individuals have elevated rates of kidney-related conditions and acute issues like myocardial infarction and ischemic heart diseases, possibly stemming from the initial injury caused by the gas leak.
