Four killed, eleven injured in Taiwan knife attack

In response to a tragic knife and smoke grenade attack in Taipei that resulted in three deaths and 11 injuries, Taiwan’s President Lai Ching-te has mandated extensive security reforms. The assailant, identified as 27-year-old Chang Wen, instigated chaos by setting fires and attacking multiple locations before succumbing to injuries sustained in a fall.
