Auckland tenants to pay $27,000 for rental home damage

A property manager from Barfoot and Thompson had to cut short her final inspection of a rental property in Auckland due to an overwhelming smell of dog waste and urine-soaked carpets, as well as an infestation of flies. The inspection revealed intentional damage caused by tenants Barry Phillips and Tessa Boyd, along with their dogs and puppies.
