Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry announced the interception of a ballistic missile and 24 drones targeting its territory, amidst rising regional tensions following a US-Israel offensive on Iran that has resulted in approximately 1,300 casualties. The ministry confirmed the missile aimed at Al-Kharj was shot down, and the drones were intercepted in the Eastern Province. Iran has since retaliated with extensive missile and drone strikes across the region, affecting countries including the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
