Israel labels Palestinian online platforms as Hamas affiliates, warns of Jerusalem escalation

Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, has issued a military order designating several Palestinian online media platforms as affiliates of Hamas. This decision follows warnings from the Shin Bet security agency about efforts to incite unrest, particularly in Jerusalem during Ramadan. The agency identified five online platforms, mainly operated from Turkey, stating that they would face action under Israel’s counter-terrorism law, with this information also shared with US officials.
