OIC Responds to US Ambassador’s Comments on Israeli Expansion
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned remarks by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, who claimed that Israel has a biblical right to territory from the Nile to the Euphrates and suggested it would be acceptable for Israel to take all of it. The OIC labeled his comments as “dangerous and irresponsible,” asserting they threaten regional stability and violate international law. Huckabee’s statements were criticized for promoting expansionist views that could exacerbate tensions and displacement in the region. The OIC reaffirmed support for Palestinian rights, including self-determination and statehood along pre-1967 borders.
