Afghanistan has returned three Pakistani soldiers to Saudi Arabian negotiators, months after their capture during border clashes on October 12 last year. Afghan government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the handover aligns with Afghanistan’s policy of fostering positive international relations and respects the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The decision also aims to respond positively to Saudi Arabia’s request. Islamabad has not yet commented on the incident.
