On Saturday, two Palestinians, including a young girl and an elderly man, were injured by Israeli gunfire in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, amid ongoing violations of a ceasefire that has been in effect since October 10, 2025. Eyewitnesses reported heavy, indiscriminate fire by Israeli forces and large-scale demolitions of residential buildings. Additionally, Israeli fighter jets conducted airstrikes on Rafah and eastern Gaza City. Since the ceasefire, at least 591 Palestinians have been killed and over 1,578 injured, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
