A Turkish court has ordered the detention of two individuals, Mehmet Budak Derya and Veysel Kerimoglu, for allegedly working with Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad. The court charged them with obtaining state secrets for political or military espionage after their arrest by Turkey’s intelligence service in Istanbul. They had been under surveillance prior to their arrest, during which they reportedly passed information to Mossad. Legal proceedings were completed at Istanbul’s courthouse before remanding them in custody.
