Thousands of Houthis gathered in Sanaa, Yemen, to protest against Israeli attacks on Gaza, which have continued despite a ceasefire that began in October 2025. The ceasefire followed a two-year Israeli offensive that killed nearly 72,000 Palestinians and severely damaged Gaza’s infrastructure. Since the ceasefire, violations by the Israeli army have resulted in the deaths of 574 Palestinians and injuries to 1,518 others. Houthi leaders have called for solidarity with Palestine and expressed readiness for further conflict with Israel.
