US Invites Albania to Join Gaza Peace Board

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has been invited by US President Donald Trump to join the Peace Board, an international body overseeing Gaza’s transitional governance, marking a significant recognition for Albania. Rama shared the invitation on social media, highlighting the board’s uniqueness and its goal of achieving lasting world peace. Other leaders, including those from Canada, Turkiye, and Argentina, have also received similar invitations. The board will be chaired by Trump, with members including US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, overseeing a Palestinian technocratic body in Gaza.
