Iran Refuses Inspections of Bombed Nuclear Sites Until IAEA Clarifies Conditions
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The head of Iran’s nuclear agency, Mohammad Eslami, has rejected inspections of nuclear facilities bombed by the US during a recent conflict, demanding a clear framework from the IAEA for such inspections. Following military strikes on sites like Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan, Iran expelled IAEA inspectors, citing a lack of condemnation for the attacks. Eslami criticized the UN Security Council’s discussions on Iran’s nuclear activities, asserting that Resolution 2231 has expired and calling for the US and European nations to restore trust. He emphasized that political pressure for inspections will not be accepted until post-war conditions are clearly defined.
