Palestinian Killed by Israeli Settler in West Bank

A 19-year-old Palestinian, Moheeb Jibril, was killed by an illegal Israeli settler in Tuqu’, near Bethlehem, marking the second fatality in the area within 24 hours. This incident raises the total number of Palestinians killed by settlers this year to 15, with 37 fatalities since the onset of the Israeli war on Gaza in October 2023. Israeli forces and settlers have reportedly killed at least 1,097 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since that time. The International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation illegal in July 2023, calling for settlement evacuations.
