Heavy Rainfall in Gaza
At least 10 people have died in the Gaza Strip due to heavy rains, with thousands of displaced families living in tents exposed to harsh winter conditions, according to the World Health Organization’s head, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. He warned of a potential rise in respiratory infections and other diseases due to inadequate sanitation and overcrowding. The WHO faces difficulties in delivering medical supplies, as many have been denied entry. Tedros called for urgent action to address the crisis.
