Palestine thanks South Africa for accepting 150 Gaza citizens
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Palestine praised South Africa for granting a 90-day visa exemption to 153 Palestinians from Gaza who arrived in South Africa after being initially denied entry. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry commended this sovereign decision while warning against human trafficking and exploitation of vulnerable individuals. They urged families in Gaza to be cautious of unofficial entities amid ongoing humanitarian crises, as South Africa continues to support Palestinian rights, including legal actions against Israel at the ICJ. Since October 2023, the Israeli military actions have resulted in over 69,000 Palestinian deaths and significant injuries.
