Jordan’s King Abdullah II arrived in Pakistan for a two-day state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, marking the first visit by a Jordanian monarch in 21 years. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Rawalpindi’s Nur Khan airbase, with a protective escort from the Pakistan Air Force. During his stay, he will engage in meetings with Sharif and Zardari to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two nations. This visit is part of Abdullah’s broader Asian tour, which includes stops in Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia.
