Iran’s IRGC Seizes Oil Tanker
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the seizure of a Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker, “Talara,” off the Makran coast for alleged violations, specifically for transporting unauthorized goods. The vessel, which was carrying 30,000 tons of petrochemicals destined for Singapore, reportedly deviated into Iranian territorial waters while traveling from the UAE.
