A Turkish C-130 military cargo aircraft crashed in Georgia while en route from Azerbaijan, as confirmed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The aircraft was carrying 20 people, and search and rescue operations are ongoing with the support of Azerbaijani and Georgian authorities. Both Turkish and Georgian officials expressed condolences, and an investigation into the crash is underway for potential violations of air transport safety regulations. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also extended his sympathies during a phone call with Erdogan.
