Sudan’s Foreign Minister, Mohieddin Salem, criticized the international community for its inaction regarding the ongoing violations by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in El Fasher and Bara during a meeting with IOM Director General Amy Pope in Port Sudan. He urged for international efforts to classify the RSF as a terrorist organization and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating humanitarian work. The country faces a severe humanitarian crisis due to ongoing conflict since April 2023, resulting in tens of thousands of deaths and nearly 13 million displaced individuals.
