Qatar Denies Allegations Against ICC Prosecutor
Qatar has denied allegations of discrediting a woman who accused ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan of abuse, calling the claims a coordinated disinformation campaign aimed at undermining its mediation efforts in Gaza. The Qatari International Media Office condemned the “unfounded allegations,” asserting that they are part of a broader influence campaign against Qatar. Khan has denied the allegations, linking them to pressure following his issuance of arrest warrants for Israeli leaders amid ongoing violence in Gaza. Qatar, along with other nations, played a key role in facilitating a ceasefire and prisoner exchange between Israel and Hamas.
