UAE condemns attacks on civilians in Sudan
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The UAE condemned the “horrific crimes” against civilians in Sudan, labeling recent attacks, particularly in El-Fasher, as a “crime against humanity” and a violation of international humanitarian law. The Foreign Ministry called for a unified international response and emphasized the need for an immediate humanitarian truce and ceasefire to alleviate civilian suffering. The UAE backed the international Quad’s declaration for a political transition and reiterated that there is “no military solution” to the conflict, which has resulted in thousands of deaths and millions displaced since April 2023.
