The World Food Program (WFP) has distributed food parcels to around 1 million people in Gaza since the ceasefire began, but is unable to meet the needs of the targeted 1.6 million due to limited supplies and access issues. Currently, families receive reduced rations sufficient for 10 days, and only 44 out of 145 planned distribution points are operational. Access remains a significant challenge, with only two border crossings open and long detours required for deliveries. Since the ceasefire started on October 10, aid has been limited, with Israel’s blockade contributing to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
