Sudanese warplanes conducted airstrikes targeting the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in North and West Kordofan, reportedly destroying at least 20 RSF vehicles and hitting two fuel tanks and an ammunition truck. The strikes were a response to RSF and foreign mercenaries preparing for an offensive on Al-Obeid. The ongoing conflict, which began on April 15, 2023, has resulted in approximately 20,000 deaths and displaced over 15 million people. No immediate response from the RSF has been reported.
