Jordan condemned the Israeli Knesset’s preliminary approval of two bills aimed at annexing the occupied West Bank and Ma’ale Adumim, labeling the actions a serious violation of international law and a threat to the two-state solution. The Palestinian group Hamas also rejected the bills, asserting that such annexation efforts are illegal and do not alter the historical status of the West Bank as Palestinian land.
