A Northern Ireland rug retailer, Kukoon, donated £180,000 ($242,824) to Oxfam Ireland’s Gaza emergency appeal after initially aiming for £40,000 through a social media campaign. Oxfam Ireland CEO Jim Clarken praised the unprecedented donation as a beacon of hope and urged for a ceasefire and humanitarian access for Gaza.
