Israeli forces detained Palestinian Culture Minister Imad Hamdan and his delegation during a visit to Kafr Ni’ma, following an assault by illegal settlers on his staff, who were beaten and had their identification seized. Hamdan condemned the actions, asserting that such “arrogant practices” would only strengthen their commitment to cultural initiatives despite ongoing violence, which has seen over 1,000 Palestinian casualties since October 2023.
