The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Gaza has issued an urgent humanitarian appeal due to a shortage of graves resulting from ongoing Israeli attacks, which have destroyed over 40 cemeteries since October 2023. The ministry launched the Ikram campaign to build free graves for martyrs and is seeking support from Arab nations and international relief agencies amid the blockade limiting burial materials.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5: The people in Gaza are having a hard time finding places to bury their loved ones because of a lot of fighting, and they are asking for help to give them proper graves.
