The contract, awarded to Pap Tecnos, included launch units and logistical support, but the ministry’s stance shifted after the Spike LR2 was linked to Israel’s Gaza offensive. This decision follows Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s recent cancellation of a separate Israeli arms deal and the development of “disconnection plans” to reduce reliance on Israeli technology.
