The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a critical warning regarding the health care system in the Gaza Strip, exacerbated by intensified Israeli military operations and evacuation orders. Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus reported that hospitals, particularly in northern Gaza, are overwhelmed, with facilities like Kamal Adwan Hospital rendered non-functional due to nearby hostilities, and others, such as the Indonesian Hospital, remain inaccessible. He emphasized the urgent need for the protection of health care, calling for a ceasefire and warning against the militarization of hospitals.
