The UN has expressed concern over Israel’s approval of a land registration process in the occupied West Bank, stating it risks further legitimizing the occupation of Palestinian territory. Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric emphasized that such actions, which could lead to annexation, violate international law and hinder peace efforts. Additionally, he highlighted the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where no supplies have entered for over 70 days due to Israel’s blockade, resulting in nearly 53,000 Palestinian deaths since October 2023, largely affecting women and children.
