Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that the time has come to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group, which he claimed failed to resolve the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, during talks with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu in Baku. The discussions included cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE, with Sinirlioglu emphasizing the South Caucasus’s importance on the OSCE agenda and congratulating Aliyev on the recent peace deal text completion between Baku and Yerevan. Relations between the two countries remain tense despite a consensus on a peace agreement, with accusations of cross-border attacks continuing.
