Tunisia: Lawyer defending ex-ministers arrested

Tunisian security forces arrested lawyer and former administrative court judge Ahmed Sawab yesterday as part of the “conspiracy against state security” case. Following a raid on his home, he was taken to the Tunisian National Counterterrorism Commission headquarters in Bouchoucha, with lawyer Sami Ben Ghazi reporting that a 48-hour meeting ban for lawyers was imposed under anti-terrorism law.
