This engagement raises concerns about Indonesia’s credibility as a defender of Palestinian self-determination, suggesting hypocrisy in allowing citizens to benefit from Israeli institutions while publicly opposing the occupation. Ultimately, Indonesia should reconsider these exchanges and refuse normalization until Palestinians achieve full liberation, aligning actions with its stated values of justice and freedom.
