In late February, a lunar lander will depart from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center carrying instruments to investigate beneath the moon’s surface, marking the third mission of 2025. The mission is part of NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services program, with Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost scheduled to land on March 2, carrying multiple science payloads. Intuitive Machines will also launch its second mission, Athena, to the lunar south pole, aiming to drill for samples and establish a lunar cellular network with Nokia.
