In Toronto, an additional 14 people, including a 16-year-old boy from Brampton, have been arrested for the April 2024 murder of Matthew Bergart, following a gunfight at a recording studio in November 2024. Videos released by police show individuals flaunting guns before a shootout occurred, with nine suspects still wanted. The incident, deemed reckless and dangerous, resulted in 105 new charges being laid, highlighting the ongoing investigation dubbed Project Poppie.
