China Responds to Indian Harassment in Shanghai

China has denied allegations that Indian woman Pema Wangjom Thongdok faced harassment or detention at Shanghai airport, claiming their border checks followed legal protocols. Thongdok, traveling from London to Japan, reported being held for about 18 hours due to her Arunachal Pradesh birthplace listed on her passport before Indian consulate intervention.
