CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government’s planned anniversary celebration for the Nayab Singh Saini administration in Sonipat has been postponed due to rising tensions following the suicide of IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, who cited casteist harassment in his final note. The decision was made after a review meeting led by CM Saini, amid protests and support for Kumar’s wife, IAS officer Amneet P Kumar.
