Indore tops Swachh Vayu Survekshan, but lags on PM10 levels; Delhi figured at 32nd position

Indore has been recognized as India’s cleanest city, leading the ‘Swachh Vayu Survekshan 2025’ for air pollution mitigation, despite a minor increase in PM10 levels. Following Indore, Jabalpur and Agra/Surat ranked next, while Amravati and Dewas excelled in smaller population categories; Union Minister Bhupender Yadav highlighted a 44% PM10 reduction in Mumbai and noted Chennai as the only metro meeting air quality standards.
