CISF set to induct first women commando team into core operations

NEW DELHI: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is set to induct its first all-women commando team for operational roles, training around 100 women personnel in skills like physical fitness and weapons use. The inaugural batch of 30 will train from August to October 2025, with plans to make all-women courses a regular part of training, aiming for 10% female representation in the force.
