'A misgiving that I have eyes on Bihar CM chair': Chirag Paswan

NEW DELHI: Union minister Chirag Paswan expressed concern over “misgivings” within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) regarding his alleged ambition for the Bihar chief minister position. He clarified that if he contests the upcoming assembly elections, it would solely be to strengthen his party’s performance, not to pursue the chief minister’s role. Paswan predicted a successful outcome for the NDA under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership and hinted at contesting from a constituency in the Shahabad region.
