Frustrated by thefts, Bengaluru shopkeepers turn night guards, nab 3 burglars

Merchants in a Shivajinagar commercial complex, frustrated by repeated burglaries since their shops were sealed in January over unpaid property tax, organized a night vigil. This led to the capture of three burglars, Imran Khan, Yousuf Pasha, and Nabil Ahmed, who were caught with stolen goods worth Rs 3 lakh. The shopkeepers, facing significant losses due to the shop closures and thefts, are now awaiting clearance to reopen their businesses and assess the full extent of their losses.
