Roller Coaster Malfunction in Chennai
Thirty people, including eight children and ten women, were trapped for nearly three hours on the “Topgun” roller coaster in Chennai after it malfunctioned at a height of about 50 feet around 6 PM. Rescue efforts, which began at 8:30 PM, involved fire and rescue services using a sky-lift vehicle to reach the stranded riders, all of whom were safely brought down without serious injuries. An investigation into the incident revealed potential neglect of maintenance and pre-existing mechanical issues with the ride.
