NEW DELHI: A soldier was killed during an ongoing encounter with Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, following a cordon and search operation initiated based on intelligence reports. The White Knight Corps confirmed the soldier succumbed to injuries despite medical efforts, as joint security forces continue to engage the terrorists. Operations have intensified against terrorist groups after recent violent incidents, including the killing of 26 civilians by Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in April.
