A 36-year-old woman from Nagpur has gone missing from Hunderban village, the last village near the Line of Control in Kargil, after checking into a hotel with her 15-year-old son on May 9. She left her son at the hotel on May 14 to visit the village but failed to return, prompting local police to form a special search team. The woman’s relatives revealed she had been divorced for a decade and worked as a nurse and tailor; meanwhile, the child is currently in trauma and will be handed over to relatives after statutory procedures are completed.
