Government to brief key leaders at all-party meeting today

NEW DELHI: The government has scheduled an all-party meeting for May 8, 2025, at 11 am in the Parliament Library to brief key political leaders about Operation Sindoor. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju announced the meeting, which Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is expected to chair, while Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, will attend. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh emphasized the party’s expectation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lead the meeting after a recent attack in Pahalgam.
