AMRITSAR: The BSF has decided to keep the Attari border gates closed and refrain from customary handshakes with Pakistan Rangers during the daily Beating Retreat ceremony due to heightened tensions and India’s suspension of passenger movement. Security measures, including quick response teams and anti-drone systems, have been intensified at Attari, Sadiqi, and Hussainiwala posts. Amid these developments, several Pakistani nationals have returned home, while services like the Samjhauta Express and cross-border bus routes remain suspended.
