NEW DELHI: Sambit Patra, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), labeled the National Herald case a “blatant robbery” during a press conference, accusing Sonia and Rahul Gandhi of being “modern dacoits.” His remarks followed the Enforcement Directorate’s filing of a chargesheet against several individuals, including the Gandhis, related to the case, which involves money laundering allegations under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The upcoming court hearing is scheduled for April 25, as the investigation continues to unfold.
