TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh criticized the protests as disruptive and politically motivated, asserting that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee would ensure no harmful provisions of the waqf law would be enforced in Bengal. As tensions rise, Banerjee plans to meet community elders to address the situation on April 16.
