Narendra Modi praised Kerala’s Sankaran Nair for his resistance against British rule following the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh tragedy. He aims to raise awareness of Nair’s story among the people of Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal. A film titled “Keasari 2,” which depicts Nair’s legal battle and his resignation from the Viceroy’s Executive Council in protest, is set to be released soon.
